About Mike Penzo

In addition to his professional activities Mike is an adjunct professor at Bridgewater State University's Department of Geological Sciences and Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies where he shares his experience in the fields of hydrogeology and environmental science. He also mentors his students in what opportunities exist professionally after college.  He routinely brings his students to LSPA meetings allowing them to network with other environmental professionals.  He is an alumnus of Northeastern University (BS Geology), and the State University of New York at Binghamton (MA Geological Sciences).

Mike is also active in his community (Newton Upper Falls).  He recently joined the Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of their Environment Committee. He served on Newton's Local Emergency Planning Committee for ten years.
